The God Husk Patron Warlock

September’s SCPC is Eldritch Galaxy so I knew exactly where I wanted to go with this month’s primary PDF. Fortuitously aligning with Spelljammer, the God Husk patron subclass for warlock. A (nearly) dead god floating in space just sounds awesome to me. I also think squeezing a bit of cleric flavor into a warlock is interesting. Yes, the Celestial patron exists as a healing/radiant cleric-lite option but I believe you’ll find the God Husk to be very different. Additionally, I thought it could be fun to explore a character option with a built-in cult!

Overview

You’ll never forget the first time you felt the ancient power of the God Husk. In an instant, your mind was flooded by images of drifting in an endless void, dreaming of a glorious past. Your patron has long since been cast aside by its forgotten followers. However you and the God Husk found each other in the vastness of nothingness, your patron has imbued you with an ember of its former divinity. What tale will you tell with it to be echoed throughout the ages?

Your patron has blessed you with a sliver of power from eons past. You gain a cantrip from the cleric spell list cantrip. For you, this cantrip counts as a warlock cantrip, and it doesn’t count against the number of warlock cantrips you know.

You also become proficient in your choice of one of the following skills: Arcana, History or Religion.
