Bard College of the Weave
Bards of the College of the Weave have studied the intangible, connecting and universal force known as the Weave. Through manipulation - both subtle and dramatic - of the Weave, magic and extraordinary feats are possible. These bards have harnessed a sliver of control of the Weave, and express that power through means similar to a wide range of magic users.
These individuals are often more bookish or studious than the stereotypical bard, and find companionship with wizards, scholars and philosophers. Bards of the College of the Weave are just as likely to discuss the nature of reality in a university’s lecture hall as they are to strum a guitar, toot a horn or gossip in a tavern. In the heat of combat, it’s not uncommon to confuse these bards for wizards or sorcerers because of the unique combination of capabilities.

Through your training, you’ve developed a deep understanding of arcane spells. You have a spellbook called a Codex, and it contains three 1st-level spells from the wizard spell list. Spells in your Codex are added to the bard spell list for you. You can also use your Codex as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.
You can add other wizard spells to your Codex. When you find such a spell, you can add it to the book if the spell’s level is equal to or less than half your bard level (rounded up). To transcribe the spell, the process takes 2 hours and costs 50 gp for each level of the spell.
When you cast a spell from your Codex that requires concentration, you can add your Charisma modifier to any Constitution saving throws that you make to maintain your concentration on that spell.
