The Sentry Fighter

Howdy! This fighter subclass is designed as a defensive and support option, and is inspired by Conduit 7 - a very special character in my current campaign. I’ve also leaned on Wisdom for a few features as a reference to the idea that a Sentry is pretty good at reading a situation and acting accordingly. The biggest challenge here was designing around the Sentinel feat. I’ve made sure that both the subclass and the feat offer different capabilities. I think the Sentry can easily find a place in any game.

It’s available now in the shop and is free to the Spud Club during the month of March.

Overview

Fighters who pursue the Sentry martial archetype are dedicated to the defense of others through vigilance. Sentries utilize their first-hand experience as guards, soldiers or other professions that require a watchful eye to study situations and react when necessary. These are the individuals who will stay awake all night in a torrential downpour so their party can rest or inspire greatness in their allies through their actions.

Quick reactions, a worldly understanding and a dedication to others are hallmarks of these fighters.
